Ensemble Canzona
Performing on reproductions of 16th century instruments, this group directed by Gerald Self will present an hour of music for the Renaissance Recorder. The concert features a variety of 16th century instrumental music, including songs, dances, fantasias, and canzonas. The group will perform using seven different sizes of Renaissance recorders, ranging from the small soprano to the giant contrabass.
