“Tell Me A Story”
La Follia string ensemble performs music that tells a story. Featured are Stephen Redfield, violin, in Vivaldi’s “Winter” from the Four Seasons; Stephanie Raby, gamba, and Valerie Chaussonet, narrator, in Marais’s “Gall Bladder Operation”; and Keith Womer, harpsichord, in Bach’s “Capriccio on the departure of a dear brother.”

ABO presents “Friends & Family,” a program of Classic-era music by composers who were friends or relations, featuring the ABO horn section on Leopold Mozart’s “Hunting Symphony,” oboist Billy Traylor and bassoonist Elizabeth Hardy in J.C. Bach’s “Sinfonia Concertante in F major for Oboe & Bassoon,” and works by Joseph & Michael Haydn, Wolfgang Mozart, and his arch-nemesis Antonio Salieri.
