Composers in the Renaissance and Baroque called some their most creative works 'Fantasias,' and these pieces were literally flights of fancy. The San Antonio Recorder Quartet will perform a concert of fantasias from the 16th-18th Centuries at 4:00 PM on Sunday afternoon, November 15, at Madison Square Presbyterian Church, 319 Camden Street in San Antonio. The quartet members will perform using 21 different Renaissance and Baroque recorders, from the tiny soprano to the giant contrabass. . This event is free and open to the public.
